Apple butt. Cakes. Junk in the Trunk. Caboose. Gluteus Maximus. No matter what you call it, everyone wants a tighter TUSH. My favorite exercise, by far, is the SQUAT! I love the squat and all the forms and variations. Just in time for summer, we are challenging our glute activation with this functional exercise.
Do you look at exercise as a punishment or a reward? When I am asked how to start an exercise regimen, I always tell people to start with a program that people will enjoy... So exercise doesn't feel like "exercise."
How do you handle challenges in your life? Do you face them head on or head down? Would you consider yourself a positive person? We have lived our lives with the litmus test being the "glass half full or half empty" to decide if we are a positive or negative being.
What does your FEAR look like? Is it a particular challenge: 5K, half-marathon, triathlon? Maybe you have a passion in your life but you are holding yourself back, STOP! Sign up for a new course, ignite your passion or hobby into a lucrative side business.
You asked for it, and here it is! An ABSolutely awesome ABtastic ABS challenge. There were squats requested and abs requested for June. I found one challenge that I thought, "Oh, yeah! That will get the abs nice and tight!" However, I knew that with my schedule it would be a while before I could post a proper form video and I didn't want my loves getting hurt.
As most of you have heard by now, "The Greatest" passed away this weekend. He was not a perfect man, but he was a strong athlete that overcame a great deal in his life. I was familiar with the heart of one of his daughter's as well, who is a social worker. I think anyone that has done any research on this man will say that this man was no stranger to passion. To be a champion, you must have passion.
